We are looking for a dynamic Senior Manager of Corporate Social Responsibility to join Light & Wonder’s Global CSR team. This highly collaborative position is responsible for the development and implementation of L&W’s Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) programs which align to our Environmental Social Governance (ESG) priorities. This role will report to the Vice President of Corporate Social Responsibility and support the global execution of work in philanthropy, social impact, community and industry partnerships, environmental sustainability, responsible gaming and corporate governance. 

Position Summary:

  • Effectively drive engagement, awareness and utilization of the company CSR brand known as Game Changers for our People, Planet, Player and Community.

  • Responsible for the local business unit facilitation of global CSR strategy and key performance indicators to ensure we uphold our commitments, policies, and goals in each functional area across the enterprise.

  • Maintain essential company metrics, benchmarks, reporting and public disclosures driven by ESG criteria prescribed by investor surveys and indices.

  • Support VP of CSR project management needs of the ESG Council and the subsequent cross functional committees with the ability to manage many workstreams with key stakeholders globally within the organization.

  • Responsible for the maintenance of presentation materials, data and ESG updates for quarterly and annual reporting needs to the ESG Council, Executive Leadership Team and Board of Directors.

  • Oversee philanthropic strategy, corporate donations and employee volunteerism programs that make the greatest social impact in collaboration with the Social Impact Committee and local BU’s.

  • Manage the annual donations budget and manage the monthly, quarterly and annual reporting requirements of said budget.

  • Coordinate awareness on Responsible Gaming initiatives, programs, player products and tools and education campaigns that align to our commitments.

  • Support environmental initiatives, community beautification projects, and cross-collaborate with facilities and manufacturing on sustainable operations and supplier diversity programs.

  • Oversee implementation of charity, social impact programs and cultural observances that our Employee Resource Groups (ERG’s) select to drive greater engagement in partnership with the DEI/People Capability team.

  • Manage L&W’s annual CSR content calendar for special events, campaigns, and cultural observances, collaborating with Corporate Communications on communications plans and strategies to maximize awareness.

  • Monitor alignment to Environmental, Social, Governance (ESG) rating agency requirements and regulatory reporting needs.

  • Produce annual reports for state gaming license regulatory requirements alongside legal and compliance teams.

  • Working alongside VP of CSR and Annual Report Committee, manage the collection and development of data and content for the Annual Global CSR Report.

Qualifications

Required Experience:

  • 5+ years of experience in marketing, CSR, operations or the corporate governance space
  • Strong communication (written and verbal) organizational, analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent project management skills, ability to multi-task and manage many workstreams with different stakeholders
  • Detailed oriented
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software
  • Proven dispute resolution skills
  • Previous participation in seminars regarding CSR in the workplace is a plus

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

  • Ability to build strong networks, manage multiple projects and influence people across a complex large, global matrixed organization.
  • Must be action-oriented doer who can enact positive and impactful change quickly.
  • Ability to achieve solutions to meet the company’s CSR objectives, proactive in providing solutions, resoling issues and overcoming hurdles to achieve results.
  • Ability to demonstrate a passion and sense of purpose to make strides in charitable giving, sustainability, community relations, employee engagement, responsible gaming and branding.
  • Knowledge of external factors influencing a companies reputation.
  • Strong problem solving ,goal setting and reporting skills.

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in in Marketing, Communications of Business preferred or equivalent experience may be considered in lieu of degree.

Physical Requirements:

  • Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer
  • Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times
  • May require weekend and evening hours
  • May also require minimal domestic and international travel to support locations as needed
