Job Details

Meta seeks a highly motivated team player to join a team of attorneys responsible for handling and leading privileged internal investigations on matters relating to anti-corruption, anti-money laundering, securities and corporate fraud.

Lead Counsel, Special Investigations Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage internal investigations implicating potential Code of Conduct issues as well as legal risk relating to corruption, fraud, AML, privacy, trade law and competition.
  • Retain and manage outside counsel relating to investigation matters
  • Ensure investigations result in remediations that maintain a culture of compliance


Minimum Qualifications:
  • 3+ years of investigations experience
  • J.D. or equivalent and membership in at least one U.S. State Bar
  • Experience in working with cross functional teams to address complex legal challenges


Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience and background in internal investigations, including serving in an in-house investigative role
  • Experience managing investigations in the government, at a law firm, or at a company
  • Experience building relationships and working in a cross functional team

$167,000/year to $233,000/year + bonus + equity + benefits

Individual compensation is determined by skills, qualifications, experience, and location. Compensation details listed in this posting reflect the base hourly rate, monthly rate, or annual salary only, and do not include bonus, equity or sales incentives, if applicable.
