Job Details

We are looking for a Quality & Compliance Engineer to join the MACH R&D team at HVDC in Ludvika. MACH is a modular advanced control system for control and protection functions. MACH R&D have approximately 400 employees developing electronics hardware and software.

You will be a part of a small and growing team responsible for Process Governance and Product Reliability, which support the MACH R&D organization with specialist competence. You have a background within Quality or regulatory compliance, standards and certification. You will in close cooperation with hardware and software engineers, create good practices and streamline the quality and compliance process.

Your responsibilities

  • Develop quality processes, review and coordinate quality assurance activities
  • Perform internal training to improve the R&D quality and compliance process
  • Promoter of a positive and proactive quality culture within MACH R&D
  • Continuous improvement driver to enhance development and product quality
  • Reviewing R&D project requirements and Products designs to assure compliance with internal & external international standards.
  • Create overviews and good practices for Design for Compliance
  • Proactive investigation of new and changed regulations and subscriptions of standards
  • Streamline the compliance process and understanding for regulatory compliance
     

Your background

  • Quality background or Academic degree in Electrical, Electronics or long experience within Compliance and standards.
  • Used to work with different standards and compliance within electronics or low voltage electrical applications
  • Demonstrated experience with international standards & directives (IEC, CE, UL, IPC, etc.).
  • Demonstrated knowledge of quality assurance and continuous improvement methods & approaches
  • Communication skills, ability to build trust on all levels of the organization
  • Skills in MS Office and common quality management software
