In our „Product evaluation and qualification“ team at Hitachi Energy Semiconductors in Lenzburg, we make sure to get to the bottom of things and deliver faultless robust semiconductor chips and power modules through a rigorous qualification process. Our products are delivered to a wide range of customers worldwide for different industrial applications as well as renewable energy, traction, and eMobility.
For the extension and strengthening of our testing activities, we look for a highly motivated electrical engineer.
Your Responsibilities / Tasks
Contribute to development projects for next-generation semiconductor chips and power modules
Collaborate with R&D design, process, and product engineering teams
Evaluate the performance of new platforms through electrical testing
Execute and monitor various electrical tests to ensure product quality
Analyze test data and provide technical recommendations
Write and review test reports
Communicate key findings to project stakeholders
Contribute to continuous improvement of testing activities for customer satisfaction
Adhere to safety rules, environmental protection, and laboratory cleanliness and order
Your Background and Skills
Technical diploma or bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or related field with a focus on semiconductor devices or power electronics
Experience in power electronics, semiconductor business, or related areas, especially electrical or reliability testing
Proficiency in modern software tools (Python, LabView, CAD software, statistical data analysis tools)
Strong communication skills and ability to present results clearly
Fluency in English, German is a plus
