Finance Manager, FP&A

As a Finance Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing aspects of financial planning, analysis, and reporting for the marketing department of Expedia. You will play a key role in driving strategic decision-making by providing financial insights and recommendations to optimize marketing investments and drive business growth.

What you’ll do:

Financial Planning and Analysis:

• Conducting comprehensive financial analysis to evaluate the ROI of marketing campaigns and initiatives.

• Providing strategic guidance on resource allocation and investment decisions to maximize marketing effectiveness.

Budget Management:

• Managing marketing budgets and ensuring adherence to budgetary constraints.

• Monitoring marketing expenses and identifying opportunities for cost optimization and efficiency improvements.

• Developing financial models and scenarios to support decision-making and scenario planning.

Performance Measurement and Reporting:

• Establishing key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to measure the effectiveness of marketing activities.

• Generating regular reports and dashboards to communicate financial performance and insights to senior management and key stakeholders.

• Providing actionable recommendations based on financial analysis to drive continuous improvement in marketing performance.

Cross-functional Collaboration:

• Collaborating closely with the marketing and finance team to align financial goals with marketing objectives and strategies.

• Partnering with other departments ensure cross-functional alignment and coordination.

Who you are:

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field (Master's degree preferred).

• 5+ years of experience in financial analysis and management, with a focus on marketing finance or related areas.

• Proven track record of success in driving financial performance and optimizing marketing investments.

• Strong leadership skills with the ability to effectively manage and develop a team.

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and draw actionable insights.

• Advanced proficiency in financial modeling, forecasting, and reporting tools.

• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and senior management.

• Detail-oriented with a strong commitment to accuracy and integrity in financial reporting.
