Internship dates: January 6th to April 25th, 2025

Our expectations:

The candidate is expected to familiarize with the stackup calculation procedure and generating a standard template for each location. Additionally, coordinate with the design entropy team to generate a standard layout template using CATIA for Combustion module .       

What your day to day will look like:

• Develop a good understanding of the current design stackup calculation procedure and identify the key locations across different engine models.
• Standardize and generate stackup template for the key locations identified
• Working with Design Entropy committee, create a standard layout template applicable for combustion module using CATIA  
• Provide design support to team members with other design projects
• Provide weekly reports to supervisor
• Prepare presentations of progress towards the process simplification tasks.

What you need to be successful:

Must haves:

• Be eligible to work in Canada
• Be enrolled in a Canadian university throughout your internship
• Be able to work on-site in the province where you are hired if applicable Pursuing a degree in Aerospace or Mechanical Engineering
• Experience working with CATIA
• Excellent communication skills in English (spoken/written). French is an asset.

Assets:

• Organizational skills and ability to work under pressure with competing and varying priorities
• Strong presentation skills
• Taking initiative towards problem solving
