Job Details

We are looking for a Field Service Engineer for our location in Cordoba.

As part of our team, you will focus on providing technical advice to customers including commissioning, installing, and testing of products/equipment.

Your responsabilities:
  • Perform occasionally service tasks, identifies technical problems and makes analysis through remote or on-site activity for transformers in operation.

  • Contributes to customer satisfaction and maintain a good relationship with customers.

  • Manage internal and external customer communications about project warranty cases with emphasis on timeliness, accuracy and follow through.

  • Establish consistent project execution and warranty resolution procedures and guidelines.

  • Coordinate with customers, service team, operations, quality, and engineering areas of the plan to be executed for resolving warranty issues.

  • Coordinates, prepares and ensures that all materials, parts and equipment are available and at the appropriate quality for service activities.

  • Perform root cause analysis and customer reports for site interventions. Reports to be done in a timely manner and follow up when needed.

  • Review, prepare and approve purchase order for materials and services.

  • Coordinate the preparation and submittal of OHS documents in a timely manner for site interventions.

  • Applies safety rules and safe practices as well as environmental responsibilities. Reports unsafe practices and incidents.

  • Communicate lessons learned and improvement actions to the organization.

Your background:

  • Degree in mechanical or electrical engineering

  • More than 3 years of experience in operations and processes for Transformers business.

  • In-depth knowledge of transformer construction and operating conditions will be a plus.

  • You work in a structured way, applying relevant methods, procedures, and tools.

  • You have a strong character, you are determined, result-oriented and have an open mind-set. You have a deep sense of ownership to deliver the assigned targets.

  • Your communication skills are strong, and your English & Spanish level, both spoken and written are good.
