Visa Commercial Solutions (VCS) focuses on providing B2B solutions to large and mid-market corporates, small businesses and government organizations.  The team has overall responsibility for all aspects of business strategy, development and management of B2B solutions, as well as platform development.

The Manager, Commercial Solutions, will be responsible for growing the existing B2B portfolio, developing and bringing new solutions to the market, leading initiatives that enhance and/or expand distribution of existing Visa capabilities and executing on the overall business strategy. The role is a core part of the VCS team and will include identifying new opportunities, solutioning and implementing new business models and assisting the functional leads developing partnership opportunities with players that may be highly complex, strategic and cross-functional. In addition to the VCS team, the role will work closely with the client leads, regional and global product teams and stakeholders across the organization. The resource will be responsible for the appended activities.

•             Lead specific work effort pieces in designing and delivering business cases for new payment / technology especially in account receivables, which requires engaging with key Issuers and Fintech partners.

•             Work with Key Fintech Partners (Juspay, Enkash etc) to expand distribution, enhance the value proposition and develop alternative business models

•             Support the team in driving a key set of strategic initiatives including managing marketing engagements and lounge initiatives to provide differentiated B2B solutions to the market

•             Work alongside the Hub product team on product initiatives like launch of Signature variant for Corporate Card, Issuer trainings for Visa Spend Clarity and Market launch of Virtual card program (Visa Payables Automation).

•             Leverage appropriate Visa assets and product management resources to deliver exceptional business/issuer/acquirer value

•             Work across key Issuers to launch, manage and ramp up their Large Market programs

•             Facilitating the successful deployment of Visa’s digital payment solutions and B2B platform partnership programs to gain market share and accelerate volume growth and program growth

 


Qualifications
  • Masters or Bachelor’s degree in business administration
  • Minimum 6 years’ experience in Payments, Business/Retail Banking, Cards or Commercial/Consumer Financial Services. Understanding of digital trends, and new age payment solutions.
  • Good understanding of consumer behavior, product operations, business processes and revenue impact.
  • Competency in Microsoft Office – Excel, PowerPoint, Word and ability to interpret and extract data.
  • Good understanding of Visa Products and services is a plus.

Business and Technical Skills

  • Good client engagement and communication skills. Should be comfortable interacting with and presenting to senior management of clients, Visa, merchant and fintech partners.
  • High level of personal integrity, loyalty and ability to keep confidential information in secret is required as the candidate will have access to sensitive and confidential client information.
  • Excellent analytical skills, strong business acumen and project management skills.
  • Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills, coupled with demonstrated negotiation and business development skills as the candidate requires to interact with senior professionals in financial institutions, Visa and alliance partners.
  • Strong appreciation of technology and trends to be able to demonstrate thought leadership.
  • Self-motivated, results driven, flexible, customer focused. Should be a strong team-player.
  • Ability and experience of work in a multi-cultural, matrix environment is required.
