Role/Responsibilities

Design, build and automate the AWS infrastructure (VPC, EC2, Networking, EMR, RDS, S3, ALB, CloudFront etc.) using Terraform following AWS Well-Architected Design .

• Design, build and automate AWS AMIs using EC2 Image builder.
• Implement microservice architecture using Docker by writing custom Docker files.
• Deploy and configure Kubernetes clusters (EKS). Including networking configuration, centralized monitoring, logging and auto-scaling.
• Design and build a CI/CD Pipeline to deploy applications using Jenkins and Docker.
• Design and configure security policies based on IT/InfoSec guidelines. Including IAM, SSO, SecurityGroups, Data Encryption, etc.
• Experience in administering GitHub, BitBucket, JIRA, Confluence, New Relic, CircleCI, Jenkins, Splunk and other DevOps tools
• 24x7x365 support

Qualifications

Bachelors or higher degree in Computer Science, Mathematics or other equivalent filed

• 3-4 years of DevOps engineering experience.
• Strong expertise on AWS services (VPC, EC2, RDS, DocumentDB, Transit Gateway, S3, VPC Peering, PrivateLink, EKS, SNS, SQS, Cloud Front, Route53, AppStream etc.,)
• Experience on Linux and Shell scripting.
• Nice to have experience on various DevOps tools.
• Preferred to have AWS certification.
• Knowledge of source control management (Git preferred).
• Docker, and Kubernetes.
• Knowledge with CI/CD process using Jenkins like tools.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and consultative skills.
• Ability to work under pressure to meet tight deadlines.
• Willing to work in night shifts for 24x7x365 support
