Job Details

Community Relations & Employee Engagement Specialist provides support to production campus leadership team and is responsible for creating and implementing internal/employee and recruiting communications content and contributing to campaigns and events to support Employee Experience initiatives and recruitment targets delivery on a local basis. Reporting to HR Business Parter, the Specialist translates business strategies into key messages, develops appropriate internal and employer branding communications initiatives in support of those strategies, and executes and drives programs that create excitement, drive engagement, align teams, and shape culture. A successful candidate is resourceful and passionate about communications and building an employee brand and employee relations.

Responsibilities:

  • Build and continuously enhance local internal communications strategy to support key strategic and cultural objectives at Hitachi Energy Lodz production campus, and overarching Hitachi Energy Group strategies.
  • Help create a best-in-class internal communications (including communications governance, content creation, copy writing, quality assurance and distribution) that fuels employee engagement, influences connectivity and culture, positively impacting all business units in Lodz.
  • Coordinate development and cascade of internal communications materials to educate, inform and engage key stakeholder groups such as white and blue collars employees and Lodz management team.
  • Lead communications strand of change, and employee engagement initiatives in collaboration with internal functions: HR, HSE and other initiative owners.
  • Provide communication expertise to managers on communication activities that align with business and cultural objectives.
  • Build local Employer Branding actions’ calendar aligned with global Employer Branding strategy and business objectives.
  • Create and carry out internal and external activities aimed at strengthening the positive image of the employer aligned with local business direction and needs.
  • Employee Branding (internal and external): actively plans and implements local employer branding campaigns and events to support Employee Experience initiatives and recruitment targets delivery.
  • Employee Branding (external): Close cooperation with universities, vocational schools, career services and other business and students’ organization.
  • Manage local Employer branding strategy and budget to deliver plan objectives.
  • Measure, analyze and recalibrate communication activities for maximum impact and engagement.
  • Ensure execution excellence throughout the area of responsibility for all communications measures in line with brand positioning, corporate identity/design guidelines and global strategy.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or Master’s degree
  • Minimum of 3-5 years’ experience in communications, preferably in content management or digital media.
  • Strong understanding of employer branding area to be able to sell the company as an employer of choice to candidates.
  • Knowledge about business environment, trends and best practices on the job market.
  • Savvy in building relationship with third parties and internal clients (Leadership team, Recruitment, HR, external suppliers)
  • Creativity and proactive attitude to be able to establish recruiting campaigns tailored for specific employer branding needs (short and long term, various target groups: production, newly graduated, engineering, IS/IT)
  • Possessing outstanding oral and written communications skills including superior writing, grammar, editing and proofreading skills.
  • Excellent organizational and administrative skills with strong attention to detail.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and consistently deliver high quality results on-time and on-budget.
  • Highly motivated, persuasive, priority-driven and collaborative (ability to work effectively with partners and staff at all levels)
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervision, comfortable in a fast-paced global environment
  • Highly proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
  • Full proficiency in English and Polish, with exceptional written and verbal skills
  • Basic Project Management skills (optional)
  • Positive and passionate personality, with a strong drive to challenge the status quo and continuously improve things.
