This role is responsible for maintaining, documenting and improving databases that are made available online to subscribers, and for responding to and assisting clients with their data-related requests

Responsibilities:

• Manage, enhance, and validate date, cross-examining information with public records and other credible sources, ensuring timely and accurate availability to subscribers.
• Integrate new datasets or merge existing ones into Moody's platform, ensuring smooth integration without compromising data quality.
• Implement control methods to improve data quality, prioritizing accuracy and consistency.
• Respond to client inquiries indirectly, providing timely and comprehensive solutions.
• Improve existing processes and procedures to enhance the speed and accuracy of our updates.
• Provide top quality documentation, such as internal procedures and any information regarding the collection methods, definitions, and frequently asked questions.
• Stay informed about the latest in data collection and verification technologies, exploring new data sources, and refining data verification and integration processes for enhanced efficiency.
• Assist and support internal and external clients in accessing our data.

Qualifications:

• Undergraduate or advanced degree with course work in economics, finance, statistics, or related fields preferred.
• European language speaker would be preferred, especially German, Italian, Spanish or French
• 2+ years of work experience in this sector or other related fields.
• Proficiency in English is required, both written and spoken.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office suite (word, outlook, excel etc.)
• Strong organizational skills with a keen eye for detail and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks, adapt to shifting priorities, and work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Programming skills are beneficial (Power BI, Excel proficiency, Salesforce)
• Self-motivated, dependable, and proactive, with the ability to work independently and take the initiative when necessary.
• The ability to interpret complex data and make informed decisions.
• Located a commutable distance to the Salford office.
