Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Cloud Systems Engineer to join our dynamic team.

 

You will lead product ideation, clarification, and design to ensure we are delivering great products and solutions for musicians, consumers, and businesses around the globe! You will ideally have a strong background in software engineering in an IoT environment, a passion for innovation, and proven leadership skills. You will be responsible for shaping, clarifying, and designing our cloud-based applications, integrations, and services. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative solutions and ensure the highest level of performance, reliability, and scalability.

Responsibilities:
  • Clarify, shape, and bring structure to the new and exciting features of our Cloud platform roadmap.
  • Architect & design cloud applications with a focus on AWS and demonstrate technical cloud architectural knowledge.
  • Shape and define detailed requirements based on stakeholder interviews and personal experience.
  • Playing a vital role in the design of cloud products running in 24×7 environments.
  • Educate & guide the team on customer and technical aspects of the product.
  • Develop POCs and Reference implementations to prove Architecture components.
  • Provide regular verbal and written communications regarding status, risks, and issues and makes recommendations for remediation or change.
  • Apply standards and research/share best practices.
  • Participate in roadmap reviews and feasibility assessments.
  • Performs other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
  • 8+ years’ experience as System Engineer or Software Architect on Cloud products.
  • Strong desire to drive clarity through documentation.
  • Articulate, independent, and detail oriented.
  • IoT product experience is highly desired.
  • Programing languages - Node.js, TypeScript, and JavaScript
  • Strong experience with Cloud platforms. AWS is preferred.
  • Extensive technical experience either in infrastructure or production management
  • Knowledge of network products and protocols, including TCP/IP, Firewalls, Load Balancers, and DNS
  • High level of analytical skills in an IT environment
  • Process, tools, and service level improvement experience
