The Hitachi Energy Indian Operations Center (INOPC) is a competence center with around 2600+ skilled engineers who focus on tendering, engineering, planning, procurement, project Management, functional system testing, installation supervision, documentation and commissioning. However, over the last decade, it has evolved to become the largest Operations hub.. The India Operations Centre team at Chennai, Bangalore and Gurugram supports Hitachi Energy’s units in more than 40 countries across a wide portfolio of all the four business units in Hitachi Energy To date, the team has executed engineering and commissioning for projects in more than 80 countries.

Mission Statement:

Enable and facilitate smooth execution of OMP, and other functional trainings, in the area of Operation across the entire lifecycle from Informing, nomination process, participant registration, location management, trainer coordination, scheduling project reviews, administrating SharePoint, document management, graduation, budget control and communication, internal between OMP stakeholders, and external to Hitachi Energy community.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Communicating to BU Transformer Community about training offering and process using structure emails as well as maintaining relevant information on Inside Energy.

  • Organizing the nomination process with process information, reminders, data capturing and preparing steering committee info to facilitate participant selection.

  • Set up and maintain a registration process and maintain information of training participants.

  • Continuously inform participants, trainers and location hosts about training program requirements, process and status.

  • Manage Training locations from initial contact to room requirements, logistics, travel recommendations, visa process support and event organization. Closely interact with local coordinators.

  • Creates and align feasible session agenda with trainers and provide agenda execution information to trainers and OMP session lead.

  • Schedule project reviews with participants and respective stakeholders (Hub/GPG), business sponsors and OMP leaders (3 reviews per participants; 48 participants =>150 review sessions to be scheduled per year).

  • Maintain TeamSpace for OMP with all relevant information for Trainees and trainers. Controlling budget and manage invoicing. Collecting training materials.

  • Act as first and main point of contact for trainers, location hosts and participants.

Your background:

  • Bachelor's degree.

  • Intercultural communication skills.

  • Fluent written and spoken English matched with excellent communication skills to serve as main point of contact.

  • Structured and well-organized working attitude; Organizational Skills and Diligence.

  • MS Tools including structuring/administrating MS Teams Spaces.

  • Ability to structure & maintain training-related information on Web portals.

  • Flexibility to stretch work times to interact with different time zones.
