Freddie Mac is seeking a creative, hands-on Technology Strategy Senior to be a member of the EO&T Strategy, Operations, and Reporting team.
As a Technology Strategy Senior, you will be working on a wide range of operations and technology strategies and strategic work efforts/projects by working across Infrastructure / Platform Services, Enterprise Chief Data Office, Global Operations, IT CFO, IT COO, IT DRO, Business Technology Divisions, and Enterprise Risk Management leadership. This role will apply knowledge of best practices to define and shape EO&T's overall strategy, governance, organization structure, architecture, and operational efficiency for EO&T.

- Establish strategic alignment across business, EO&T, Risk management and IT CFO
- Complete strategic and high-impact efforts / special projects driven by EVP, SVP, and BOD top priorities
- Regularly interact with senior leaders on Transformation initiatives for executive reporting
- Design, develop, and communicate materials for executive-level and senior leadership meetings to articulate the direction, priorities, decisions, risks, and goals of the EO&T Division
- Partner with stakeholders to critically analyze and report on critical metrics for board, executive, departmental, and project-level briefings
- Work in a SWAT-style team environment to engage with all levels of the organization, including senior executives, to strategize and develop solutions for automation, and operational efficiency across multiple domains.
- Collaborate with Technology teams and cross-functional partners to develop cohesive technology solutions, cost analysis, operating model, and implementation approach, as needed
- Effective strategic vendor management enhancing operational efficiency, reducing costs, while fostering long-term partnerships that drive competitive advantage
- Partner with stakeholders to define new reporting needs and change management of existing executive/board of directors' reports, dashboards, and metrics
- Maintenance and governance of scorecards, metrics, KRIs, and alignment with 3LODs
Qualifications
- 5-7 years of diversified strategic IT experience (technology, organization, and processes), including creating management presentations
- Experience in software engineering managing system engineering tradeoffs, balancing performance, cost, and risk management
- Experience in vendor management including contracts, performance (financial and delivery) and relationship management
- An outstanding ability to analyze problems, apply quantitative analytical approaches, communicate effectively and confidently (verbal and written), and work well in cross-functional teams
- Excellent and efficient skills using MS Excel and PowerPoint tools (absolutely required)
- Strong organization and process re-engineering skills, including analysis, planning, and execution
- Ability to successfully deliver in an agile, entrepreneurial environment
- Ability to work in a team environment and independently
- Highly motivated and energetic self-starter with strong organizational and time management skills; proven experience operating at high standards of quality and accuracy within a fast-paced, changing environment, including the ability to manage multiple efforts simultaneously
- Strong passion for technology and staying abreast of industry trends
- Flexibility and adaptability: able to change direction quickly and thoughtfully
- A demonstrable passion for and understanding of great user experiences and technology
- Excellent visual design, written communication skills, and ability to succinctly present/communicate complex subject matter
- Experience facilitating adaptive change to meet the demands of a critical and complex division of the enterprise while managing multiple initiatives and time-sensitive processes simultaneously

This position has an annualized market-based salary range of $120,000 - $180,000 and is eligible to participate in the annual incentive program. The final salary offered will generally fall within this range and is dependent on various factors including but not limited to the responsibilities of the position, experience, skill set, internal pay equity and other relevant qualifications of the applicant.
