Mission statement:

Optimize & Standardize the Production’s Processes, Methods and Equipment in close cooperation with Production Management and ensuring Global Production Standards compliance in order to improve productivity in accordance with business strategies related to quality, efficiency, costs and safety, environment focus

Your responsibilities:

  • You will ensure the production process complies with the targets and requirements, approve the design for processes developed internally or externally and perform final tests before official deployment, evaluate new process technologies to improve productivity, quality and cost reduction, defining and leading testing activities, approval criteria and external provider choices, FMEA & Lean Six Sigma methods involvement to mitigate production process risks and monitor process capability.

  • You will define the working phase sequence (Work Instructions) of each production process in order to assure compliance of quality but achieve productivity and efficiency, ensure appropriate production methods, cycle-time, equipment performance, and materials/components in support of production targets.

  • You will provide technical support to production during the internal/external process/equipment start-up, defining action plans and training relevant maintenance and production resources, provide technical support to Hot Quality Issues, Root Cause Countermeasure Analysis, Test Failure Reduction Program, kick-off meeting, tender projects.

  • You will identify and recommend improvement opportunities and take lead/implement improvement projects, ensure adherence to timeframe, quality and cost requirements.

  • You will receive/implement technology transfer for new products including but not limited to: WIs for new product, new component, new material, self-audit process, risk assessment; bridge between design & production/QA.

Your background:

  • You hold university Degree in Electrical/Mechanical engineering.

  • More than 5 years working experience in similar position (Senior/Supervisor Production Engineer and/or Quality) in a manufacturing industry environment.

  • Goods in studying technical standards (IEC, ISO, JIS…) to transfer from English to English/Vietnamese documents.

  • Preferred to Lean and six sigma certifications or knowledge.

  • Technical oriented, ability to work independently & lead others.

  • Specialized knowledge in transformer manufacturing processes is an advantage.

  • Computer skills, good in time management and using in-depth knowledge in a specific area to execute complex or specialized projects.

  • Good in presentation & negotiation Skills.

  • Good English communication (Reading, Writing, Listening, Speaking).
