We are looking for a Production Development Manager for our BU in Lodi.
Your responsibilities:
Primary role of the Production Development Manager is to design, organise and control various business processes using optimum resources like machine, space, labour, energy etc.
Responsible for improving productivity of the plant by applying various Industrial Engineering Techniques.
Must have knowledge of work study, time & motion study, work standardization. Knowledge of PMTS (pre-determined motion time study) tool like “MOST” is preferable.
Hands on experience of factory layouts, design and implementation of physical flow of materials in the shop floor, using lean concepts, Design and implement material handling systems etc.
Drive continuous improvement programs using tools like Kaizen, kanban etc.
Should be familiar with best manufacturing practices & tools for lean manufacturing.
Should be competent in designing jigs & fixtures ergonomically.
Must have exposure in assembly shops involving make to order and make to stock scenarios.
Experience of co-ordination with various cross functions.
Hands on experience of AutoCAD & Pro-E are required.

Your background:
Degree in Mechanical / Industrial Engineering.
Experience of handling a team of 3 to 4 employees and co ordination with cross functions to achieve the target.
Experience of 5 to 8 years is required.
Good Communication skills, Planning and Scheduling.
Skilled in troubleshooting and problem solving, 4Q, 5’S, Kaizen Activities.
Quick learner with interest in and ability to master new technologies.
Proficiency in English and Italian is required
Basic overview of SAP environment is desirable.
Know how on Lean manufacturing and pull production systems are desirable.
