As a Project Governance & Excellence Expert, you define, maintain, and promote standards and methods for IT Project Management and quality assurance. You will engage in development and implementation of strategic IT Project Portfolio Management. You work in a worldwide and multicultural environment in close collaboration with Business and IT teams to foster good project management/ project portfolio management practices across the organization.
Responsibilities:
- Refine, improve, and promote standards and methods for IT Project Management and quality assurance
- Strengthen existing PM services and engage in developing new services such as IT project assessments, PM support, reporting on progress, resources, finance, costings
- Engage in development and implementation of a framework for strategic IT Project Portfolio Management which aligns to company goals and supports strategic planning and decision-making processes
- Conduct regular portfolio reviews and develop reports/ dashboards to provide insights on portfolio health, risks etc.
- Facilitate activities in the IT Project Management community of practices and collaborate with PMO teams across various departments in IT
- Develop new and improve existing IT Project Portfolio/ Project Management training materials, train PMs based on best practices
- Support the implementation and promote usage of the PM and PPM tooling (ServiceNow - SPM module)
Requirements:
- 5+ years of working experience in areas of IT Project Management/ Project Portfolio Management in global companies
- Knowledge of project management frameworks and methodologies such as agile, waterfall, Prince2, PMP, ideally also certified in PM or PPM
- General knowledge of IT processes and technologies
- Experience with PPM Tools, ideally ServiceNow SPM module
- Masters / Bachelor’s degree preferable in Information Management Systems, Business Administration
- Excellent communication skills and customer-oriented mindset
- Fluent in English (written and spoken)
