Your responsibilities

  • Ensure compliance with corporate and country standards, regulations, and guidelines.
  • Supports the tender manager on financial aspects. Provides input to negotiations on commercial issues.  Provides input in local risk review process.
  • Supports the Project Managers in all financial and commercial matters. Actively supervise and support the financial performance of assigned projects, drive and seek optimization of project revenues, profitability, cashflow contributing to the financial result.
  • Support the Project Managers in coordinating and preparing monthly project reviews including preparation of “at completion” estimates, cost-to-complete calculations, revenues, and cash flow forecasts.
  • Participate in opportunity/risk identification and monitor that all required actions are timely implemented.
  • Provide input to the Project Execution Plan on financial aspects.
  • Prepare project invoices, financial accounting and reporting (including project site accounting);
  • Oversee currency risk, bonds and guarantee and tax issues.
  • Is responsible for the correctness of project balance sheet and income statement as well as for cash flow and monthly/quarterly forecast.
  • Analyzing variances on forecasted revenue and costs.
  • Supports the Project Manager in adherence to: corporate governance, integrity, assurance, internal control, group charter, business specific finance directives and instructions.
  • Assist and support with the monthly closing and reporting.

Your background

  • Accountant or industrial engineer degree.
  • Master’s degree in finance (preferable)
  • To fit in this role, we see that you hold a financial degree and have 7 years of experience in project controlling or similar.
  • You have expert skills in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office package, and experience in SAP.
  • You have skills to consolidate large amount of data and make it understandable to management and other employees.
  • High sense of responsibility and commitment.
  • Effective communicator.
  • Self-driven personality.
  • You act responsibly in terms of integrity, transparency and safety.
  • You are eager to solve problems, deliver results - prioritize, act and achieve goals.
  • As a person you are flexible, open-minded and curious.
  • English language: intermediate-advanced.
