ABOUT YOUR ROLE

Trade Compliance Import Analyst is responsible for arranging daily import transactions with adhere to company & country policies, to plan & implement all the strategies according to supplier & customer demands & administer movement of all goods & ensure compliance to all government regulation.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE:

  • Manage daily Imports (permanent & temporary regimes)  activities such as, letters of instructions to custom brokers, traceability of import paperwork for direct shipments (BOL / PL, certificates of origin) & company policies /government regulation.
  • Making sure that all these import activities are in agreement with the accepted rules and regulations of the organization.
  • Scrutiny of Shipping Documents.
  • Dealing with Day to Day Customs issues via advising through customs brokers.
  • Verification of custom duties & sending Pay order request to Finance.
  • Observe and design Import solutions that lead to achieving operational savings. (Fees and consolidated operations to lead paperless foreign trade operations.
  • USMCA rules & certificates of origin. Qualification process as to the finished goods.
  • IMMEX knowledge. Working along with Foreign Trade Supervisor to automate in and out that information going into Annex 24.
  • HTS classification intake for Mexico & USA. Working with the local GTM team.
  • Virtual import Pedimentos / transferring of raw material and finished goods under rule 5.2.4 & 5.2.5 This task demands at least 10 days a month from the start to the end process in order to consolidate the abroad sales under the virtual scenario.
  • Pedimentos F4´s and F5’s to change the status of temporal imports and meet the deadline requirements.
  • Checking all relevant invoices & providing to finance.

Qualifications

WHAT WE WILL BE LOOKING FOR IN YOU:

 

  • College degree required / Foreign Trade desired or related to.
  • English speaking and writing skills.
  • Windows and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Minimum experience of 3 years.
  • Moral.

  • Willingness to deliver sound control activities.
  • Exceptional work ethic - must be a self-starter and willing to do what it takes to complete the task.
  • Must be high energy, service oriented, team-oriented, and results focused.
  • Ability to lead improvement teams and projects
  • Ability to interact with various departments (accounting, sales, customer service, etc.).
  • Ability to work cooperatively with others.
  • Ability to coordinate several tasks concurrently.
  • Ability to field emergency calls outside of typical working hours as needed.
  • Demonstrated analytical skills
