    Responsibilities: Research, design, and develop computer and network software or specialized utility programs. Design, code, test, debug, and document software, and enhance existing components to ensure that software meets business needs. Contribute to the design and architecture to enable secure, scalable and maintainable software. Apply technical expertise to resolve complex programming and design problems in a distributed environment. Develop and deliver frequently high quality, secure, stable code for use in products and solutions for customers, making it easier for other developers to maintain, enhance, reuse, and localize. Advocates to perform code reviews to ensure new code conforms to standards. Collaborate with stakeholders to understand requirements, understand use cases and build towards a cohesive technical strategy. Contribute to cost-benefit evaluation by providing estimates for the features and define feasibility of each feature. Propose how to minimize the amount of work for sufficient solution to be implemented and demonstrates product increments in sprint reviews. Self-starter, passionate about learning new technologies and solving business problems using these technologies. Must be available to work on projects at various, unanticipated sites throughout the United States. Telecommuting is permitted.

    Minimum Requirements: Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field and 3 years of experience in the job offered or in a software engineer-related occupation. Must be available to work on projects at various, unanticipated sites throughout the United States. Telecommuting is permitted.

    Skill Requirements: Position requires at least 3 years of experience in each of the following skills:

    • Lead multiple projects by designing, architecting, and directing the complete development and maintenance processes using Java, Spring Boot frameworks.

    • Lead several projects using Oracle DB, Postgres SQL.

    • Design, built and automate tools, including Maven and Gradle, complemented by proficiency in continuous integration practices.

    • Design, set up, and manage CI/CD pipelines with Jenkins, along with comprehensive experience in developing, documenting, and maintaining API tests using Postman.

    • Configure Splunk and New Relic for monitoring and logging, creating custom alerts with AWS SNS integration, and managing incidents with PagerDuty and ServiceNow.

    • Lead and develop numerous projects focused on building comprehensive server less applications utilizing AWS API Gateway, SQS, and Lambda.

    • Deployment and management of containerized applications with Docker and Kubernetes.

    • Design and develop integration tests with Cucumber for behavior-driven development and Rest-Assured for testing RESTful APIs.

    • Experience in leading software development projects utilizing JDK 1.8 for Java applications, NodeJs 12.x for server side JavaScript, and GoLang 1.x for crafting high-performance system components.

    Salary transparency  

    Salary is one part of Autodesk’s competitive compensation package. For U.S.-based roles, we expect a starting base salary between $190,754 - $198,000/year. Offers are based on the candidate’s experience and geographic location. In addition to base salaries, we also have a significant emphasis on annual cash bonuses, commissions for sales roles, stock grants, and a comprehensive benefits package.
