    Responsibilities: Research, design, and develop computer and network software or specialized utility programs. Analyze user needs and develop software solutions, applying principles and techniques of computer science, engineering, and mathematical analysis. Update software or enhance existing software capabilities. Work with computer hardware engineers to integrate hardware and software systems, and develop specifications and performance requirements. Maintain databases within an application area, working individually or coordinating database development as part of a team. Analyze product usage data for data quality and generation of insights. Generate data quality reports. Develop high quality, scalable, secure, stable code for use in products and solutions for customers, making it easier for other developers to maintain, enhance and reuse. Develop and maintain Unit Tests; strive to automate testing as much as possible. Ensure new code follows best security practices. Document new code and features developed, including changes to existing code. Write and present code design specifications. Interact with support teams to identify and resolve product defects. Maintain, troubleshoot and debug code, as required. Test newly developed features to ensure they are functioning properly. Participate in developing test plans, including regression tests, for newly developed software or feature. Must be available to work on projects at various, unanticipated sites throughout the United States. Telecommuting is permitted.

    Minimum Requirements: Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Data Analytics, or related field. Must be available to work on projects at various, unanticipated sites throughout the United States. Telecommuting is permitted.

    Special Requirements:

    Position requires some experience in each of the following skills:

    • Utilize knowledge of PYTHON, JAVA and other programming languages to develop Restful API endpoints and data pipelines

    • Utilize knowledge of MySQL, Snowflake, Redshift to store and read insights/product data, conduct data analysis

    • Utilize knowledge of AWS-kinesis, Kafka to handle real-time data feeds at scale and data streaming

    • Utilize knowledge of PowerBI, Looker, tableau to generate visualization and reports

    • Utilize knowledge of AWS Cloudwatch, Datadog for monitoring and alerting of data pipeline and API health

    • Utilize knowledge of Airflow, ETL orchestration tools to automate the process of extracting data from various sources, transforming this data into a suitable format or structure, and then loading it into a destination.

    • Utilize knowledge of AWS Appsync, AWS DynamoDB to build GraphQL API on AWS to delivery stored customer insights

    • Utilize knowledge of REST and GraphQL API to build API and add functionalities

    • Utilize knowledge of machine learning to build and train models to predict user’s product usage, subscription and token purchase

    • Utilize knowledge of Junit, unittest, pytest to conduct unit testing to ensure that individual units of code (e.g., functions, methods, classes) work as intended.

    Salary transparency  

    Salary is one part of Autodesk’s competitive compensation package. For U.S.-based roles, we expect a starting base salary between $181,272 - $200,000/year. Offers are based on the candidate’s experience and geographic location. In addition to base salaries, we also have a significant emphasis on annual cash bonuses, commissions for sales roles, stock grants, and a comprehensive benefits package.
