We are seeking a dynamic Engineering Manager to lead our Connected Delivery platform team. This critical infrastructure allows users to seamlessly discover, download, and install Autodesk products, services, and third-party applications. In this role, you will guide a full-stack team to develop modern experiences supported by scalable and resilient services that meet the evolving needs of our global customer base.
Responsibilities:
Lead and Grow: Manage, mentor, and inspire a team of talented full-stack engineers, fostering an inclusive environment that encourages innovation and high performance.
Hands-On Engagement: Dedicate approximately 25% of your time to hands-on development, staying close to the technology and your team’s workflows.
Strategic Influence: Provide strategic insights to senior management on project development, potential, and the technological roadmap.
Enhance Efficiency: Identify and implement enhancements through improved engineering practices, automation, and optimized processes.
Collaborate and Drive Vision: Partner with technical leads and product managers to align with and advance Autodesk’s vision.
Uphold Excellence: Ensure your team delivers software that meets the highest standards of quality, security, and resilience.
Expand Team Capability: Play an active role in hiring and developing a diverse, skilled, and effective engineering team.
What you bring:
Experienced Leader: BE/BS in Computer Science (MS preferred) with 8+ years of industry experience, including at least 5 years in technical leadership and 2+ years in people management.
Technically Proficient: Advanced knowledge of front-end technologies (e.g., ReactJS), Java, Spring Boot, and cloud services (AWS preferred).
Agile Advocate: Deep understanding of Agile methodologies with a proven track record of leading teams in fast-paced, agile environments.
Communicator: Strong communication and decision-making skills are essential, especially for managing diverse and geographically dispersed teams.
