Job Summary:

Raytheon Company is looking for a Material Program Manager to join the Advanced Technology Product Line team supporting IRAD, Capital & Common Product Solutions in a fast-paced development environment. The successful candidate will be a self-starter capable of developing and achieving program material deliveries, orchestrating material procurements, and successfully interface with functional and program leadership.

In this role, you will have responsibility for the performance of the Operations &  Supply chain team (OSC) for assigned projects under Internal Research and Development (IRAD) & Engineering Capital umbrella.  

This position is Onsite in Tucson, AZ.

What You Will Do:

  • Developing and executing Material Program Plans and Supplier Management Plans

  • Generating Supplier Request for Information/Proposals/Quotes (RFIs/RFPs/RFQs), and obtaining and understanding supplier proposals/quotes

  • Assisting with the generation of Supplier Statements of Work (SSOWs)

  • Driving Purchase Requisition generation & Purchase Order placement/management

  • Support and engage with various Principal Investigators (PI’s) & Integrated Project Teams (IPTs) to resolve supply chain issues and serve as supply chain SME for other functional areas.

  • Participate in CORE projects to enhance Supply Chain performance and continuous improvement.

  • Sets objectives and guides others on execution/approach for achievement of developmental results.

  • Understands & embraces new RTX & Raytheon policies, practices, and procedures and may influence others.

  • Problems faced are difficult and involve consideration of multiple variables.

  • Lead multiple complex projects simultaneously.

  • Any other reasonable duties as required.

Qualifications You Must Have:

  • Typically requires: A University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience, or An Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years experience

  • Experience with supply chain, production control, material handling and/or performance management.

  • Prior work experience with Operations and manufacturing process mapping

  • ERP/MRP experience, SAP highly preferred.

  • The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required.

  • U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.

Qualifications We Prefer:

  • Master’s Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Supply Chain Management or related

  • Experience working in a matrix organization and multi-site leadership.

  • Experience with Prime Contract Requirements and Statements of Work (SSOWs)

  • Experience with Supply Chain, Production Control, and/or Procurement processes and requirements

  • Proficient with in Microsoft Office software applications (Word, PowerPoint, Excel including Pivot Tables)

  • Ability to support complex product development efforts

  • Excellent reporting/communication skills

  • Experience in a matrixed organizational structure

  • Working knowledge of Earned Value Management and EVM metrics, processes, and tools

  • Secret Clearance

The salary range for this role is 77,000 USD - 163,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Specific benefits are dependent upon the specific business unit as well as whether or not the position is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement.

Hired applicants may be eligible for annual short-term and/or long-term incentive compensation programs depending on the level of the position and whether or not it is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company’s performance.

This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
