    Responsibilities: Develop and implement a set of techniques or analytics applications to transform raw data into meaningful information using data-oriented programming languages and visualization software. Apply data mining, data modeling, natural language processing, and machine learning to extract and analyze information from large structured and unstructured datasets. Visualize, interpret, and report data findings. May create dynamic data reports. Work alongside a product development team and apply data mining, analytics, and machine learning methods to understanding how customers use, adopt, and achieve successful outcomes with our products for their different construction workflows. Apply statistical techniques to model customer behavior and trends to identify potential opportunities for growth and improvement. Build statistical and machine learning models (both predictive and descriptive) for customer lifetime value modeling, retention modeling, etc. Utilize data to create predictive/ prescriptive data products to help business partners make data driven decisions. Visualize, design dashboards, and collaborate with stakeholders to ensure the creation and delivery of the new/enhanced reports/dashboards. Handle data acquisition, mining, and cleaning.

    Must be available to work on projects at various, unanticipated sites throughout the United States. Telecommuting is permitted.

    Minimum Requirements: Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Analytics or related field and three (3) years of experience in the job offered or in an engineering-related occupation.

    Special Requirements:

    Position requires at least one (1) academic semester of graduate-level coursework or some experience in each of the following skills:

    • Utilize knowledge of Python, ETL Libraries (Pandas), ML Libraries (Torch, TensorFlow, Scikit-Learn, XGboost, etc.) to write code for training and validating ML models.

    • Utilizes software engineering skills for pipeline deployment: AWS, Astronomer (Airflow), Github

    • Use knowledge of Natural Language Processing to perform analysis and modeling on customer feedback

    • Utilize knowledge of SQL, Snowflake, and DBT to create data pipelines.

    • Utilize knowledge of Business Intelligence tools (Looker, Power BI, Tableau, DOMO) to build dashboards and communicate data outcomes to stakeholders.

    • Utilize knowledge of process management tools (JIRA), and project management tools (Microsoft Project, Astronomer Airtable, Mural) to manage project timelines.

    • Utilize knowledge of Machine Learning (ML) to design and formulate business needs as ML problems.

    • Use flowcharts and UML diagrams (LucidChart) to communicate code architecture.

    • Utilize Knowledge of Microsoft Office tools (PowerPoint, Excel, Forms, Drive, etc.) and Confluence to communicate updates and findings and collect feedback from stakeholders.

    • Use knowledge of sequential modeling to perform user workflow analysis

    Salary transparency  

    Salary is one part of Autodesk’s competitive compensation package. For U.S.-based roles, we expect a starting base salary between $163,202 - $191,200/year. Offers are based on the candidate’s experience and geographic location. In addition to base salaries, we also have a significant emphasis on annual cash bonuses, commissions for sales roles, stock grants, and a comprehensive benefits package.
