Key responsibilities include: 

  • The role of Enterprise Architect is critical role responsible for helping map existing digital and business process, identifying necessary process changes, developing technology roadmaps, and acting as a critical resource to help lead Pratt’s digital journey. 

  • This role will focus on enterprise integrations, support to our Asia Pacific teams, and general support to the overall EA strategy to provide clear guidance to P&W on needed technology investments and enhancements. 

  • This role will also assist in the development of integrated models of business capabilities, business processes, apps landscapes and technologies; mapping them using our EA tool (Bizzdesign). 

  • This individual will assist in the development of an enterprise integration strategy and implementation of technology standards and governance globally. 

  • This role will be expected to provide STRONG leadership, overall technical direction to the technology and business teams they support, and guidance to stakeholders based on enterprise standards. 

  • Partner extensively with all parts of the Pratt & Whitney to ensure implementation of enterprise solutions and standards defined by the EA organization. 

  • Act as a thought leader, operating across various Technical Platform Areas and provide guidance on a global scale regarding Industry Best Practices for Operations. 

  • Demonstrated experience in process mapping, re-architecting, and optimization for digital transformation of major industrial, manufacturing, or A&D organization. 

 

Experience/Qualifications: 

  • BS degree and 13+ years' experience required; or Advanced degree and 11+ years of experience required in Information Technology that includes acting as a senior solution architect and/or enterprise architect, and leading large scale technology implementations. 

  • 8+ years as an enterprise level business/process/technology architect. 

  • Past experience working with EA modeling tools and languages, Bizzdesign preferred but not required. 

  • Past experience developing technology standards and governance. 

  • Experience with modern architecture frameworks and designs that support successful digital technology insertion. 

  • Ability to provide strategic technical leadership and lead by influence the creation of long-term strategy (e.g., more than 3 years) roadmaps in a virtual environment. 

  • Ability to build strong relationships to leverage information and insights across key groups. 

  • Self-starter with self-confidence, enthusiasm, and strong customer service orientation.
