Raytheon is seeking a Logistics Staff Technician to support the Aurora, CO. logistics team, Aurora, CO: https://careers.rtx.com/global/en/raytheon-aurora-co-location.   This role is responsible for performing key logistics processes including receiving, warehouse stocking, kitting, cycle counting, campus mail delivery, hardware deliveries and shipping.  The prospective candidate will work independently and provide high quality work while maintaining efficiency and accuracy. 

What You Will Do:

  • Adhere to all safety standards including but not limited to wearing appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). 
  • Stock parts to shelves, bins, or appropriate locations and update Warehouse Management System with proper location
  • Perform kitting function by identifying material location and counting/packaging appropriate part number and quantity
  • Generate and distribute daily warehouse reports
  • Verify cycle counts through identified part numbers and record counts in system
  • Maintain warehouse documentation/records per corporate audit guidelines, in support of internal and external audits to ensure compliance with established policies and procedures
  • Coordinate and monitor workflow. Assist in prioritization of work activities to improve upon service level commitment
  • Communicate with customer, management, and coworkers to identify higher priority activities, and communicate progress with management and customers
  • Support internal, external and customer led audits, as required
  • Manage departmental inventory supplies  
  • Provide additional support of receiving, mailroom, courier and shipping departments during peak workload periods
  • Maintain training and certifications for the safe operation of powered industrial equipment
  • Monitor and complete corporate and departmental training requirements
  • Promptly communicate active concerns and potential problems and assist with developing solutions.
  • Obtain a Powered Industrial Equipment operating certification.
  • Work overtime as needed and occasional Saturdays.
  • Ability to lift to 28 lbs.
  • Possess a valid driver’s license to operate company vehicles
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required.
  • U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.

Qualifications You Must Have:

  • Minimum 2 years’ experience packing, shipping, material handling, and/or inventory management. 
  • Experience using Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.

Qualifications We Prefer:

  • Typically requires an associate’s degree or other 2-year post high school training with a minimum of 6 years relevant experience. 
  • Working knowledge of SAP
  • Knowledge of Defense Transportation Regulations
  • Logisticians Certifications

The salary range for this role is 44,000 USD - 102,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company’s performance.

This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
