Get onboard the COLLINS Aerospace Systems MRO team and play a part in managing our customer’s repair and overhaul products from inception to delivery.

What You Will Do:

• Immerse yourself in a full-time, Monday-Friday co-op session, that will run May - December (including the Fall semester; it is expected students will take a semester off from coursework to fully engage with this working mentorship opportunity).
• Daily WIP Status Updates
• Visual management maintenance and improvements
• Turnback Analysis from Andon system
• General organization and 5S of shop areas
• Continuous improvement
• Cross Functional Integration

What You Will Learn:

• Develop key management and team skills with ownership over daily, weekly, and monthly tasks.
• You will learn how to coordinate and manage MRO (maintenance and repair organization) products
• You will directly interface with the supply base, Supply Chain commodity Managers, Supplier Development, Engineering, Business Development, Contracts/Legal, Program Office and Operations.
   

Qualifications You Must Have:

• U.S. Person (U.S. citizen, permanent resident, or granted refugee or asylee status) as defined here: https://www.ecfr.gov/current/title-22/chapter-I/subchapter-M/part-120/subpart-C/section-120.62
• Must be pursuing a Bachelor’s or advanced Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Manufacturing, Materials, Operations, Business, Supply Chain Management, or an applicable discipline
• Must have completed 30 hours of college coursework

Qualifications We Prefer:

• Good oral and written communication skills
• Solid analytical problem solving skills are extremely valuable
• Willingness to learn and react in a fast paced environment
• Experience with Microsoft Office products.

The salary range for this role is 37,000 USD - 82,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company’s performance.
