Raytheon Operations and Supply Chain team is seeking at Executive Assistant to support two members of our team - Vice President of Operations and Supply Chain (APS) and Executive Director of Supply Chain (ASDS). Primary responsibilities include maintaining calendar and schedule, scheduling/coordinating meetings, coordinating/making travel arrangements including international travel with export/import requirements, completing and processing expense reports, and generating charts, tables, memoranda, reports, presentations, correspondence, and other materials, independently and with speed and accuracy. Other duties may include, but are not limited to, planning morale functions, ordering supplies for the program area, onboarding of new additions to the program, escorting personnel within the program area, and performing special projects as preferred. This position will interface with a variety of internal /external customers and will require onsite assistance.

This team member will handle details of confidential and critical nature and collect and prepare information for use in discussions/meetings with customers, senior staff and outside vendors.  The Administrative Assistant selected for this role is also expected to be a primary member of the program teams and therefore a positive and optimistic attitude is critical. Professional, organized, able to multitask, and has excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, are vital characteristics to be effective in this role.

This position is an onsite role.

What You Will Do

  • Function as a member of the APS Ops and Supply Chain team as well as the ASDS Supply Chain team, attending staff meetings and other meetings as required; record and distribute actions post meetings
  • Manage calendars and travel for Vice President of APS OSC and Executive Director, SCM ASDS.
  • Schedule meetings requested by either parties and for those requesting to meet with them and facilitate meeting requests with the organization with other leaders/peers 
  • Create and/or edit presentations, reports, correspondence and memorandums, utilizing PowerPoint, Excel, and Word
  • Order supplies as needed
  • Make necessary travel arrangements and process Expense Reports in a timely manner
  • Coordinate visit requests within the facility and at other facilities within Raytheon or with suppliers 
  • Arrange conference rooms, catering, and off-site venues
  • Oversee, coordinate, and/or initiate new-hire on-boarding and employee status changes
  • Create and maintain organizational charts
  • Arrange and coordinate events
  • Ensure training and other deadlines are met
  • Manage action items from APS OSC meetings and APS LT meetings 

Qualifications You Must Have

  • Typically requires an AA/AS degree (or other 2-year post high school training) with a minimum of 6 years of relevant experience.
  • U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract.

  • Excellent ability to manage lots of tasks at once and get them done within a reasonable amount of time 
  • Ability to multi-task and anticipate calendar priorities to help manage calendar efficiently 
  • The ability to get a long and collaborate with other EAs within the organization to keep the organization running smoothly

This position requires a security clearance. DCSA Consolidated Adjudication Services (DCSA CAS), an agency of the Department of Defense, handles and adjudicates the security clearance process. The salary range for this role is 48,000 USD - 112,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Specific benefits are dependent upon the specific business unit as well as whether or not the position is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement.

Hired applicants may be eligible for annual short-term and/or long-term incentive compensation programs depending on the level of the position and whether or not it is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company’s performance.

This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
