Autodesk Construction Cloud – Consultant
Position Overview
As an Implementation Consultant, your deep software/product expertise will help customers maximize the value of their Autodesk AEC products, turning innovative solutions into real-world practices. You will analyze current workflows and processes within the context of the customer’s business and project objectives. Collaborating with key business unit stakeholders and project teams, you will define new workflows, configure software, train users, and mentor project teams to ensure successful implementations. Through documentation and a “train-the-trainer” approach, you will enable customers to scale solutions across their organization, driving meaningful business outcomes. You will also provide product feedback to Autodesk’s product teams, keeping up with product development roadmaps.
Responsibilities
- Analyze existing workflows and processes
- Provide hands-on experience in projects involving Electronic Document Management Systems
- Apply expertise in Autodesk products such as BIM 360, ACC, Construction Management, ISO19650
- Define processes, plan, and implement new technologies and workflows
- Offer coaching and change management to customers and partners
- Provide innovative solutions to meet customer and industry challenges using Autodesk products
- Lead consulting engagements for implementation with customers
- Apply Autodesk products to meet industry-specific requirements and workflows
- Guide customers in the best practices for Autodesk product usage; define and document detailed use cases
- Configure solutions based on product capabilities and customer needs
- Define migration strategies for customer data and standards into Autodesk products
- Collaborate with customers, partners, and internal stakeholders to resolve technical issues
- Provide feedback to service line management and product development based on client experiences to drive product and process improvements
- Mentor customers to encourage adoption and consumption of solutions
- Mentor partners to enable scalable delivery of service packages
- Provide input for sales and proposal presentations, identifying additional product/services opportunities within customer organizations
- Contribute to task estimation and scope clarification in Scopes of Work with customers
- Willingness to travel up to 50%.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering
- Knowledge of Autodesk products such as BIM 360/ACC Build, Design Collaboration, Model Coordination, etc
- Hands-on experience with construction project management
- Industry experience in Infrastructure, Building, or Construction
- Minimum 8 years of relevant experience (10 years preferred)
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with ACC, BIM 360, BuildingConnected, or other products within Autodesk’s portfolio
- Construction industry experience with general contractors or subcontractor projects, including on-site processes
- Experience in consulting, client solutions, services, or similar fields
- Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management, or a related field. An advanced degree (MS, Ph.D.) is a plus
