The role

The Raytheon courseware & media Organisational Interface Manager (OIM) is responsible for gathering the technical data and directing activity to support the programme in the deployment and delivery of courseware and media.

The OIM will develop strategies and solutions to address identified challenges to the delivery of programme developed C&M. The OIM will work with the Programme Manager and other team leaders to ensure that courseware and media developed in the Programme can be delivered across the Customer training estate and the Customer’s learning environment (LE) Learning Management System (LMS). The role will require the OIM to make site visits and establish relationships with system owners across the Customer training estate to ensure potential challenges to the delivery of training C&M developed by the programme are identified and addressed.

Main Duties to include:

  • Work as a member of a team responsible for the analysis, design and production of DSAT C&M for delivery across our Customer’s training sites and organisations.
  • Work with the customer and the customer’s agents and suppliers to identify the technical data required to enable delivery of programme developed C&M.
  • Interviewing subject matter experts across a range of organisations to collate required technical data, participate in internal workshops to discuss and agree findings from analysis.
  • Develop and lead in the implementation of C&M delivery solutions, (e.g. IT and infrastructure) to enable the delivery of programme C&M.
  • Audit and ensure that the programme IT infrastructure is aligned to our Customer’s delivery policies and systems, identify and implement any required IT infrastructure solutions necessary to deliver C&M.
  • Be ‘Responsible for championing and fostering a culture of Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) compliance and continuous improvement’.
  • Any other duties required to complete the T31 Training Service.

Essential:

Should have extensive experience of:

  • Excellent communication skills at all levels, internally and within the customer organisation.
  • The ability to build and maintain effective working relationships, internally and with a range of external stakeholders.
  • Proactive research skills to establish a comprehensive understanding of IT system requirements.
  • An understanding of the creation and integration of IT infrastructure systems on prem and distributed.
  • Experienced and capable of working within a team.
  • Experience in the installation and implementation of IT systems on prem and distributed

Desirable:

Should have some experience of:

  • An understanding of complex IT infrastructure used in the delivery of modern training, on prem, LE and other LMS.
  • Experience in the design of IT systems for the networked delivery of training solutions.
