General Accounting Specialist - GL

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced General Accounting Specialist – GL who will be responsible for various accounting functions including journal entries, reconciliation, month- end close. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and solid understanding of accounting principles

Main Accountabilities:         

  • Handle day-to-day accounting tasks to ensure accurate financial records.
  • Execute specific tasks related to month-end and year-end closing processes.
  • Perform regular reconciliations of accounts to ensure accuracy.
  • Handle fixed assets tasks as required.
  • Generate monthly, quarterly, and annual reports.
  • Executing accounting analyses and reports as assigned.
  • Applying accounting techniques and standard practices to the classification and recording of financial transactions to solve unusual issues.
  • Close cooperation with controllers, Front Offices and other streams (AP, AR, Master data).
  • Assist with internal and external auditing procedures.
  • Oversee the use of group tools such as Trintech Close, SNOW.

Your background:

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • 2-3 years of experience in General Accounting or General Leader accounting.
  • Strong mathematical and analytical skills to handle financial data.
  • Practical knowledge of ERP system (Oracle, SAP).
  • Good user knowledge of Microsoft Office especially Excel skills (functions, pivot table).
  • Proficient in business English.
  • Process orientation and attention on details.
  • Very good organization and coordination skills.
  • Ability to work in team with deadlines and stress situations.
