Title: Asst Dir-DevOps Engineer

Location: 7 World Trade Center, 250 Greenwich Street, New York, NY 10007

Duties: Define and maintain coding standards and guide team members to comply with these standards. Collaborate with quality assurance engineers to fix defects. Perform database administration and maintenance, including database installation and configuration, backups, upgrades, and patching. Collaborate with build and release engineers to prepare packages and solve environmental issues. Investigate and find the root cause for software problems reported by clients and maintain technical documents. Work with more senior team members to continuously improve our engineering practice. Interpret business requirements for a Business Mission/Epic with the assistance of Business Analysts. Provide feedback on requirements from a technical database perspective and provide estimates. Take ownership of stories and implement, and test features based on the requirements. Design and implementation for stories owned, based on requirement changes. Act as a key resource for FFIEC and SOC audits that occur annually and serve as the production subject matter for the SQL and Postgres environments in production. Perform optimization, database tuning, and handle various high availability database options. Manage database maintenance migration, and various custom alerts. Oversee database data for security auditing, sizing, and standards. Implement and support to High Availability and Disaster Recovery solutions with Windows Clusters and SQL AlwaysON Availability Group Solution. Execute change requests put forth by the clients.

Requirements: Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Information Systems, or a closely related technical field plus five (5) years of experience as a Database Administrator, Analyst, Systems Analyst, or in the Information Technology sector designing technical solutions. Must have experience with the following: analyzing complex technical issues and processes to identify and understand requirements, and develop solutions; applying knowledge of cloud engineering, cloud and network security best practices, and software development life cycle (SDLC), including Agile or Kanban Development Methodology; deploying and managing production environments in Amazon AWS and or Azure; performing scripting and automation using Shell, PowerShell; Working with Database technologies and SQL; working with source control management, including Git, and application security scanning tools, and CI/CD processes using Jenkins.

For US-based roles only: the anticipated hiring base salary range for this position is $138,112 to $184,950/year depending on factors such as experience, education, level, skills, and location. This range is based on a full-time position. In addition to base salary, this role is eligible for incentive compensation.
