What you can expect

We are looking for a Senior Security Engineer to design, develop, and maintain security tools and frameworks, and enhance the security of our systems. An Ideal candidate should have experience with Ansible, Terraform, AWS, and Splunk Enterprise Security, along with experience in system design, automation, high-availability distributed systems, and Linux. Proficiency in Bash or Python is required, and while not mandatory, candidates should be willing to learn about data routing and compliance standards.

About the Team

The Zoom Security Monitoring & Logging team implements, enhances and manages various tools and technologies used to identify and protect IT assets, detect security events and enable security incident response.

What we’re looking for

• 3+ years of software development experience with a focus on security engineering, secure coding, or similar roles.

• Have proficiency in one or more programming languages such as Python, Java, or Go. Experience with Bash scripting & languages

• Show experience with Ansible, Terraform, AWS, and Splunk in a security engineering role

• Possess problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment

• Have effective communication and collaboration skills.

• 4+ years of design/implementation/consulting experience with distributed applications or equivalent education experience
