    Position Overview:

In Data Driven Decisions (3D), we collaborate with our customers to gain an in-depth understanding of business policy and needs. Linking these business needs with our decision modeling methodology, we develop world class decision services that leverage data to drive the optimal evaluation of loans. In fact, 3D’s decision services play a central and critical role in the evaluation of loans throughout the entire loan life cycle at Freddie Mac.

    Data Driven Decisions (3D) is currently searching for highly analytical, collaborative and customer-focused candidates to join our Modern Delivery team. A team player who will bring a fresh perspective and positive energy to the team. Is this you?

    Our Impact:

    The 3D role will support our Modern Delivery team in a variety of different ways:

    • Understanding Customer Needs

    • Forging strong partnerships with our customers

    • Understanding their business needs

    • Documenting those needs in the form of user stories

    • Prioritizing & Planning

    • Collaborating with our customers to prioritize work

    • Planning with our customers and IT partners for each Program Increment (PI)

    • Supporting a “full-stack” team approach to maximize team productivity

    • Modeling & Testing

    • Recommending innovative approaches / solutions to meet business needs

    • Grooming and executing stories that include Decision Modeling, testing, and deploying our enterprise decision solutions

    • Implementing Best Practices & Process Improvement

    • Collaborating with the business rules community to ensure alignment with best practices and standards for decision modeling, testing and decision services

    • Driving ideas for process improvements and automation opportunities within Modern Delivery

    • Developing and championing strategic objectives across Business Rules

    • Product Analysis

    • Responsible for acting as the primary interface between technology and a specific business product

    • Identifies needs of the users/customers and recommends alternative methods for meeting those needs

    • Understanding data movement and detailed knowledge of upstream/downstream systems and the interaction &

    • dependencies

    • Responsible for writing user stories and acceptance criteria based on business driven functionality as well as technical capabilities (works with both the Product Owner and Delivery team)

    • Facilitator of knowledge sessions with subject matter experts and stakeholders across the company

    • Shows keen awareness of team health, spirit, camaraderie and provides support when needed

    • Leads by influencing and supporting others rather than commanding, across a range of important stakeholders

    Qualifications:
    • College Degree or equivalent experience
    • Typically has minimum of 1 - 3 years related experience
    • Desire and willingness to participate in our Decision Modeling Assessment, Decision Modeling Training and required to become certified in Decision Modeling within 1 year of taking position
    • Desire and willingness to participate in team cross-training to learn different rule communities

    Freddie Mac offers a comprehensive total rewards package to include competitive compensation and market-leading benefit programs. Information on these benefit programs is available on our Careers site.

    This position has an annualized market-based salary range of $62,000 - $94,000 and is eligible to participate in the annual incentive program. The final salary offered will generally fall within this range and is dependent on various factors including but not limited to the responsibilities of the position, experience, skill set, internal pay equity and other relevant qualifications of the applicant.
