    Position Overview:

    Are you looking for a dynamic opportunity to use your strong operational background within our HR division’s Talent/Recruiting team? Do you like to operationalize functions and critical processes, optimizing them for efficiency and effectiveness? We are searching for a dedicated Operations Specialist to join our exciting team supporting a broad range of technical, operational processes and administrative HR functions.

    Our Impact:

    The Talent Operations Team consistently supports Freddie Mac’s overall Talent strategy by collaborating cross-functionally with our internal partners, vendors and HR teams. We perform primary recruiting operations to include immigration and mobility administration, vendor management, new employee preboarding, talent technologies and tools, and more. All the while, we prioritize outstanding candidate and employee experience throughout.

    People on this team have strong administrative experience and top-notch knowledge of HR process and programs. They maintain and operate from company policies and seek optimal ways of conducting work to increase efficiency, reporting on key metrics and safeguarding the company through compliance with employment laws.

    Your Impact:

    Support larger HR team to implement smooth, consistent and compliant candidate and employee experience related to HR system communications and workflows, employee data and payment processing, relocation, travel and/or immigration program administration, and technical system use. This includes:

    • Ensure background check compliance via sharing of information about important procedures and practices and working with our internal processes and external vendors.

    • Use HR technology platforms to perform compliance reviews, performance updates and periodic audits

    • Deliver excellent experience throughout the total TA employee lifecycle activities from pre-boarding to welcome phases including employee queries.

    • Generating reports and analytics related to programs you support

    • Resolve employees’ queries related to Immigration, Relocation, Referral Program, etc.

    • Collaborate with team members and the broader HR team to acquire relevant feedback during interdepartmental discussions and operations review meetings

    • Maintain confidentiality about crucial matters and employee personal data

    Qualifications:
    • 4 years of related work experience with critical HR lifecycle processes from applicant to onboarding

    • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent HR specialist experience

    • Current experience with Workday HRIS and other talent tools

    • Intermediate knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint for use in creating reports and spreadsheets, analyzing metrics and delivering presentations

    • Proven problem-solving skills; experience with solving technical issues

    • Strong time-management capabilities

    • Outstanding interpersonal and customer service skills, with the ability to create and maintain positive relationships

    • Creatively solution for complex challenges and mitigate risks

    • Effective communication skills, including comfort in presenting to leaders and vendors

    • Ability and curiosity to master technical tools and convey implementations to partners

    This position has an annualized market-based salary range of $76,000 - $114,000 and is eligible to participate in the annual incentive program. The final salary offered will generally fall within this range and is dependent on various factors including but not limited to the responsibilities of the position, experience, skill set, internal pay equity and other relevant qualifications of the applicant.
