Summary:

In this role, you will perform analyses, data management, and research, understanding data source and business processes and how they fit into overall business needs. You will interpret trends, regulatory changes, and / or forecasts and anticipate impact for the company. You will answer methodology and data source questions from internal teams through use of available data sources, documentation processes, and data methodology tools. You will collaborate with clinical quality value analysis, contracting and the Vizient Item Master Services Team to identify areas of opportunity to improve the INTEGRIS Health Item Master.

Responsibilities:

  • Research and identify relevant data sources; incorporates understanding of business drivers into analysis.

  • Define requirement dashboards and reports that enable information sharing with stakeholders.

  • Work closely with stakeholders (internal and external / members) to ensure quality and timely project delivery.

  • Establish and maintains relationships with stakeholders to effectively manage expectations.

  • Prepares analysis and related recommendations in accordance to established guidelines or client needs; communicates outcomes back to internal and external audiences.

  • May present recommendations to manager and provide guidance in selecting from different alternatives.

  • Assists with planning and participate in stakeholder meetings to gather requirements and / or understand current business processes.

  • Correct duplicate items, units of measure, and price discrepancies.

  • Receives minimal guidance to develop and maintain data sets.

Qualifications:

  • Relevant degree preferred

  • 2 or more years of relevant experience required.

  • Clinical experience, healthcare research, hospital experience a plus.

  • Ability to be on-site weekly.

  • Data analytics skillset (Excel, PowerBI, etc.)

  • Familiarity with pricing and contracts desired.

  • Ability to articulate and manage data.

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.

Estimated Hiring Range:

At Vizient, we consider skills, experience, and organizational needs in our compensation approach. Geographic factors may adjust the range estimate and hires typically fall below the top range. Compensation decisions are tailored to individual circumstances. The current salary range for this role is $41,500.00 to $74,700.00.

This position is also incentive eligible.
