    Position Overview

    We are looking for a professional with Design, Manufacturing, Product Data Management and/or Product Lifecycle Management (PDM/PLM) experience, supporting a broad range of technologies in large-scale enterprise environments.

    As a Senior Implementation Consultant, this individual will work directly with customers to understand their true engineering and business needs in manufacturing. Based on that understanding, this individual will define an overall approach that is based on Autodesk D&M products.

    Responsibilities

    • Work with customers and colleagues in all phases of Design Automation, Factory Layout, Manufacturing, PDM/PLM projects (from business development, analysis, design to implementation)

    • Implement solutions for global key customers from the Automotive and Manufacturing business leveraging the full bandwidth of Autodesk product design and manufacturing solutions

    • Map out implementation strategy to meet customer SOW based on Autodesk D&M portfolio

    • Execute PDM/ PLM system implementation delivery tasks (configuration, scripting, deployment/rollout, testing, etc.)

    • Produce written documentation of solutions and implementation activities

    • Build problem-solving partnerships with clients and colleagues

    • Process definition, planning, and implementation of new technologies and workflows

    • Provide coaching, change management to external customers and partners

    • Provides innovate solutions to meet customer and industry challenges based on Autodesk product solutions

    • Lead implementation consulting engagements with customers

    • Apply Autodesk product sets to detailed industry requirements and workflows

    • Guide customers in the best application of Autodesk products; define and document detailed use cases

    • Configure solutions/workflows based on product capabilities and customer requirements

    • Define migration approach of customer data and standards into Autodesk products

    • Collaborates with customers (external), partners and internal stakeholders consulting groups (internal) to resolve technical issues

    • Provides feedback to service line management and product development groups on client experience for product and process improvements

    • Provide coaching and mentoring to customers to drive adoption and consumption

    • Provide coaching and mentoring to partners to enable the scalable delivery of packages service offerings

    • Provide input to sales and proposal presentations and identify additional product/services opportunities in customer organization

    • Contributes task estimation and task description in Scopes of Work as well as scope clarification with customers

    • Travel up to 50%

    Minimum Qualifications

    • Extensive experience of activities, tasks and practices, and tools associated with analysis of a variety of work processes and associated document and information flow

    • Advanced knowledge of Product Data Management/ Product Lifecycle Management industry needs and workflows

    • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Computer/Mechanical/Manufacturing engineering

    • Prior experience in migrating PDM/PLM systems to higher versions

    • Prior experience in migrating projects between PDM/PLM technologies

    • Knowledge of industry best practices and their rationale

    • Ability to effectively communicate both internally and externally in a multinational ecosystem

    • Experience in the use of Autodesk Vault and Fusion 360 Manage

    • Experience in the use Inventor and AutoCAD

    • 5 – 6 years of Product Design and Manufacturing field experience

    Preferred Qualifications

    • Experience with ACC/BIM 360, Fusion 360, AutoCAD® AutoCAD Electrical, Revit®, Inventor®, Enterprise Add-on for Autodesk Vault (VAO), Generative Design, Factory Design Utilities or other products of Autodesk’s Portfolio is a plus

    • Deeper understanding of manufacturing industry as well as supply chain related challenges and their processes (BOM, ERP, Quality Management, Collaborations)

    • Proven ability to be flexible and learn quickly in a fast-paced environment

    • Able to manage several projects at a time, setting the right priorities

    • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong relationships with enterprise customers

    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to convey complex technical details coherently to a live or virtual audience

    • Strong communicator in English and able to build relationship at all levels

    • Team player who enjoys supporting and interacting with other members of a shared responsibility team

    • Experience with factory layout, design, and manufacturing design solutions, apart from the Autodesk portfolio is a plus

    • Experience with Autodesk Platform Services/Autodesk Forge is a plus
