Preferred qualifications:
  • Master's degree in Computer Science, MIS or related technical field or equivalent practical experience.
  • Experience working cross-functionally with functional partners and other eng teams.
  • Experience in full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) (e.g., analyze, design, build, test, implement, release, support.).
  • Ability to deliver quality code on complex software projects.
About the job

You lead all aspects of web development, requirements gathering, software development, testing, documentation, training, implementation, ongoing support, and maintenance for both in-house and customer-facing web applications. You will work closely with a cross-functional team of Googlers using UI and functional specs/prototypes as input. You are empowered to act like an owner, take action and innovate to meet user and customer needs.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $102,000-$150,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities
  • Design and implement efficient data solutions through the full project lifecycle, maintaining highest levels of engineering.
  • Write quality product and system development code to solve data challenges faced by teams at Google.
  • Envision, design and deliver repeatable patterns and frameworks in areas data ingestion, data curation, data quality, data visualization and data distribution.
  • Deliver APIs/microservices to satisfy diverse use cases aligned to the Google Objectives and Key Results themes of Helpful and Sustainable Value.
  • Foster an innovative, creative mindset is welcome as we seek out new ways to solve problems “horizontally” across multiple Google business areas.
