Overview:

Join our team as a Supplier Quality Engineer (SQE) and play a vital role in ensuring the highest quality standards for our products! In this role, you'll support Supplier Quality Engineering across production, engineering, and product development departments. You'll ensure that new product components meet our stringent quality criteria and address any quality issues directly with suppliers. As a key liaison, you'll coordinate efforts between suppliers, purchasing, production plants, and product development teams. You will also attend inspections to address raw material quality concerns. Proficiency in reading, writing, and understanding English is essential. If you're dedicated to quality and have a keen eye for detail, we want to hear from you! Responsibilities:

 

1. Ensures that received raw material meets specifications by creating or modifying inspection instructions.

2. Coordinates draws with the SQT.

3. Follows up on SCARs.

4. Supports in supplier process audits.

5. Ensures that supplier documentation is based on a quality system.

6. Collaborates with multidisciplinary teams such as: Design and Development Engineering, Purchasing, Product Category and New Products.

7. Disposal of non-conforming material through the SAP Quality Notifications (QN) system and creating Supplier Corrective Action Requests (SCAR) when necessary.

8. Effective communication between manufacturing plants regarding supplier quality issues.

9. Supports IQC activities

10. Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:
  • University Degree completed: Electrical, Electronic, Mechanical, Industrial or Quality Engineering.
  • 1 - 3 years of experience in the field.
  • English proficiency in reading, writing, and understanding
  • Availability to travel.
  • 8D, Cause & Effect Diagrams, FMEA, SPC, DOE and GR&R Knowledge.
  • GD&T and IPC Criteria Knowledge (Preferred).
  • Process Capacity Analysis Knowledge.
  • Ability to work independently, receiving little instruction on daily work, but receiving general instructions on newly presented tasks.
  • Able to collaborate with other departments.
  • Schedule availability.
