Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform preliminary and detailed structural analysis for electric actuation and subsystems.
  • Engage in the entire product lifecycle from concept design to production support.
  • Use classical and computational methods for stress analysis.
  • Plan and manage analysis workload to support rapid product development
  • Develop new and innovative analytical capabilities
  • Collaborate with multi-functional teams and interface with customers.
  • Support new business opportunities and customer relationships.
  • Contribute to engineering strategy and technology roadmap.
  • Occasionally perform other tasks as needed, with provided training.

Principal Accountabilities:

  • Conduct preliminary sizing analysis and conceptual design support.
  • Perform classical and computational analysis of mechanical elements.
  • Produce and present technical reports and summaries.
  • Develop new capabilities to support technology roadmaps.
  • Create customer proposals and presentations.
  • Support failure investigations and corrective actions.
  • Collaborate to identify synergies and best practices.
  • Mentor and train early career engineers..

Technical Requirements:

  • Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline
  • Demonstrable expertise in structural analysis’ instead
  • Experience with Ansys, MathCAD, and CATIA preferred.
  • Advanced knowledge of classical analysis methods and structural FEA.
  • Proven problem-solving skills in structural analysis.
  • Strong communication skills.
