Work you'll do/ Responsibilities
  • Lead a work stream which may include directing the work of junior staff
  • Consult with clients on the system design of AWS environments
  • Manage cloud implementations, upgrades, migrations, and change requests on client cloud environments
  • Create, implement, and assist in the development of scripts to automate everyday operations
  • Monitor and maintain multiple (Infrastructure) environments based on client requirements
  • Responsible for the configuration and setup of backups; setup automated AWS patching for Windows and Linux platforms
  • Lead program optimization to work within constructs of an AWS infrastructure environment

The US Cloud Engineering Offering focuses on enabling our client's end-to-end journey from On-Premise to Cloud, with opportunities in the areas of Cloud Strategy and Op Model Transformation, Cloud Development & Integration, Cloud Migration, and Cloud Infrastructure & Managed Services. Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree preferably in Computer Science, Engineering, Management Information Systems, or equivalent work experience
  • 6+ years of experience planning, developing, and implementing AWS Cloud environments
  • Experience in Windows Active Directory design and implementation across AWS cloud environments
  • Experience with designing and deploying AWS Services like Elastic Compute (EC2), Storages (S3, EBS, EFS, Glacier, and AWS Storage Gateway), and RDS
  • Experience in AWS storage encryption, data at rest, and data in transit
  • Automation scripting experience with GitHub, Jenkins, or scripting languages including Ansible, Shell, Bash, Perl
  • Experience in AWS storage encryption, data at rest, and data in transit
  • Ability to lead AWS infrastructure buildouts
  • Deep knowledge of Windows servers
  • AWS Management Services experience (CloudWatch, ELB, EC2 autoscaling, CloudTrail, and AWS Config), AWS workspaces, and AWS directory Services
  • Ability to travel up to 10% overnight for client/project travel
  • Expected to co-locate in your designated geo hub location up to 30% of the time based on business needs
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future

  • Must live in a commutable distance (a 100-mile radius) to one of the following delivery locations: Gilbert, AZ - Lake Mary, FL - Atlanta, GA - Charlotte, NC - Mechanicsburg, PA - Philadelphia PA - Houston, TX - Dallas, TX - with the ability to commute to the assigned location without the need for overnight accommodations

For individuals assigned and/or hired to work in New York state, Deloitte is required by law to include a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role. This compensation range is specific to New York state and takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $102,750 to $171,250.

You may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors, including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance.
