ABOUT YOUR ROLE
The Global Category IM&S is responsible for driving procurement strategic initiatives that deliver value across the organization supporting business objectives.
The primary objective of this role is to develop and implement global sourcing strategies for the Logistics categories. The role is responsible for execute logistic strategies, managing internal and external stakeholder relationships, contract negotiations, and ensuring the delivery of cost savings and value-add initiatives partnering with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for cost-to-serve optimization and improve functional ROI, mitigate risks, and optimize supplier relationships globally.
YOUR MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE
Strategic Global Logistic RFQ
- Facilitate regional sites’ logistic RFQ processes with internal stakeholders.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand logistic business needs, propose solutions, and establish efficient processes to meet those needs.
- Monitor LSP performance and actively pursue opportunities for improvement.
- Cultivate positive relationships with LSP.
- Gather and review updates on the logistic market, ensuring internal stakeholders are kept informed.
- Process data and generate high-quality management reports.
Logistic Optimization Project Management:
- Monitor regional sites’ logistic projects, collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop integrated end-to-end solutions.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives for efficiency and cost saving.
- Develop, implement, and optimize processes while ensuring governance alignment.
- Conduct periodic reviews against KPIs and analyse data for improvements.
- Resolve operational issues promptly and effectively.
- Build strong relationships with LSP and internal teams.
Qualifications
WHAT WE WILL BE LOOKING FOR IN YOU
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, supply chain management, or a related field.
- Understanding RFx development & execution.
- Proficiency in logistic commercial operations, encompassing freight charges and rate trends.
- Hands-on experience in managing logistic tenders and contracts.
- Strong experience in proposal development and analytics support within the logistics field
- Excellent negotiation, contract management, and supplier relationship management skills.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
- Proven ability to work in a fast-paced, global environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Extensive stakeholder management experience.
- 360 degrees communication / co-ordination.
- Result and execution oriented.
- Open-minded.
- Ambitious with a strong drive.
Other skills:
- Fluent in English language (spoken and written).
- Other language skills (spoken) will be a plus.
Experience:
- Minimum 3 years relevant experience within an organization at regional or global level.
- Proven track record of delivering cost savings and value-add initiative.
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
Travel: 10-20%
