The Product Strategists in our Core Product Strategy team set the vision for a dedicated strategic focus area, which often extends across multiple products, platforms, and/or data sources. They are responsible for driving alignment across cross-functional and cross-departmental stakeholders to ensure that the vision is executed effectively and efficiently to improve customer value and deliver growth for the business.

As a Product Strategist for Risk & Screening, you will contribute to shaping the 1-3-5 year product strategy for Moody’s Risk & Screening Solutions and be a key-player in executing the current strategy.

You will partner with colleagues in Commercial Strategy, New Product Innovation, Product Management, Product Marketing, and Sales.

Specifically, you will have the opportunity to:

  • Interact frequently with current and prospective customers to ensure alignment of core product strategy to client needs
  • Lead or support strategic projects that drive market expansion
  • Partner with sales, marketing, legal, and other stakeholders to develop and execute a go-to-market strategy for core product launches
  • Communicate strategy, learnings, and progress to stakeholders
  • Serve as a key point of contact with the sales team on the strategic vision and core product roadmap, new releases, and training
  • Facilitate a customer feedback cycle among product, sales, customer service, and customer success
  • Provide strategic direction to drive value-driven investment in core product development
  • Stay abreast of the regulatory landscape within KYC and translate into customer impact and product needs

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience working in a fast-paced software environment
  • Past experience as a KYC/AML/Sanctions/Compliance practitioner and/or vendor preferrable
  • Expertise in sanctions and/or financial crime compliance policies, needs and requirements
  • Expertise in payment screening solutions is a plus
  • Demonstrated success in applying continuous customer discovery best practices
  • Strong attention to detail with ability to successfully execute on multiple, simultaneous projects
  • Excellent interpersonal, leadership, and communication skills
  • Ability to work in a cross-functional team and influence decisions
  • Ability to work efficiently with a solid sense for setting priorities
