- Operate and maintain paint and/or chemical processing equipment and machinery, including pumps, media blasting, tumblers, and other related equipment.
- Adheres to established regulatory requirements, environmental standards, and safety procedures.
- Conduct regular quality control checks on raw materials, and final products to ensure adherence to specifications and standards.
- Follow standard work instructions and safety protocols to minimize risks and maintain a safe working environment. And to ensure compliance of manufactured parts to regulatory requirements.
- Collect and analyze samples during production for testing and analysis purposes.
- Document and record production data, operating parameters, and test results.
- Assist in the development and implementation of process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce waste.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, such as engineers and maintenance technicians, to troubleshoot equipment issues and optimize production processes.
- Perform routine maintenance tasks on equipment, including cleaning, calibration, and minor repairs.
- Perform wet painting and powdering direct to bare metal from a provided set of standard process to powder prime and powder topcoat components.
- Flexible to further develop and enhance skills through a range of both wet paint and powder coating processes and products
- Adheres to and participates in all EHS practices and standards across the site, including but not limited to proactive reporting of observed hazards and recommendations to ensure the safety and wellbeing of self and others.
Job Requirement
- Experience in wet painting and/or powder coating in a manufacturing environment
- Experience in chemical process line, conversion coating in a manufacturing environment
- Able to interpret technical drawings
- With good attendance record
- Willingness to work rotating shifts and overtime as required
