Work you'll do

• Improve data integrity, internal controls, and financial reporting
• Design and implement technical solutions to improve financial management activities
• Work with clients to identify financial control issues and gaps
• Assist with accounting and financial reporting operations
• Participate in and/or lead the development of deliverable content that meets the needs of the client and contract
• Review deliverables for accuracy and quality

Qualifications

Required:

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, Information Technology/Systems, Business, Finance, or another Business-related field
• 2+ years of data integrity, internal controls, and/or financial reporting experience
• 1+ year(s) of experience working with and briefing senior program manager
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future
• Ability to work on site 100% of the time in Richmond, VA
• Ability to travel 10 - 30%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve
• Active TS/SCI security clearance with Polygraph required

Preferred:

• 3+ years of experience performing federal financial statement auditing and/or federal financial statement preparation and analysis.
• 1+ year(s) of experience with business process improvement methodologies
• Currently licensed as a CPA
• CDFM or CGFM
• Experience supporting efforts to achieve auditability in the IC
• Experience in Microsoft Tool Suite with an emphasis on Excel and Powerpoint
• Experience working in a client-facing position
• Strong interpersonal skills reflecting the confidence to work with officials at all levels
• Familiarity with a variety of data aggregation, sorting, graphic creation, data storage and data manipulation tools
