Location
This is a hybrid position. You must be in the Ottawa, Canada office, at least three days a week.
About the team
The Community & Self-Service Experience team fosters self-service by curating and creating quality content, ensuring its findability, and promoting a culture of knowledge sharing and collaboration. We empower our customers, partners, and employees by providing them with opportunities to connect, share, learn and grow.
As the Community & Content Co-Op/Intern, you will perform a range of operational activities with a primary focus on providing technical support for our platform, as well as managing content and engagement programs with our community.
This is a full-time, 12-month position, starting January 2025.
What You Will Do
- Provide technical support for our community platform
- Work closely with the community program lead to develop, evolve, and innovate our content strategy
- Assist in the implementation of content & engagement programs and initiatives
- Attend focus group sessions to identify content & engagement opportunities and build relationships
- Curate, create, and manage content items; build and maintain a community content calendar
- Document content best practices and standards, issues, content requests, and more
- May perform additional projects upon request
What We Are Looking For
- Enrolled in a post-secondary diploma or degree program in a related discipline
- Experience in a customer service or support role
- Familiarity with user communities and digital content creation (articles, blogs, video, etc.)
- Ability to conduct research and analyse & synthesize information
- Capable of thinking creatively and taking initiative
- Strong willingness to learn and contribute to team success
- Excellent writing, editing and communication skills
