SEBRING INTERNATIONAL RACEWAY

This race track located in Sebring, Florida, is America’s oldest road racing track, with over six decades of storied history. It hosts the historic Twelve Hours of Sebring each year on the third Saturday of March on the 3.74-mile road course. The Twelve Hours of Sebring is one of the four endurance races on the IMSA schedule.

SUMMARY 
Responsible for helping with track maintenance during the race event.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. 

Operate tractors, trucks, sweepers and other equipment as needed.

May need to be able to manually use shovels, brooms, etc.

May need to manually move tires and tire packs to appropriate locations on the track.

Keep equipment ready to be used at a moments’ notice

Travel required – 0%

This job has no supervisory responsibilities.

QUALIFICATIONS 
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE                               
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one (1) to three (3) months related experience and/or training in customer service and sales; and/or equivalent combination of education and experience.

LANGUAGE SKILLS                               
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.  Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.  Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS                               
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.  Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.

REASONING ABILITY                               
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.  Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.  

COMPUTER SKILLS                               
Proficient on Company-provided hardware and software.

OTHER QUALIFICATIONS
Position is safety sensitive so it participates in the corporate Substance Abuse Program (SAP).
