Job Purpose

  • You will contribute to the development of the new DCFC business. The product is just launched on the market, and you will face both challenges and opportunities of a growing business and a growing team.
  • You will organize, plan and manage execution of planning activities by the assigned unit, within the production strategy, corporate guidelines and agreed service levels, inventory and costs, to realize optimal delivery of products and services to customers overseeing time, cost and quality.
  • You will lead the development of the planning strategy, gaining trust within the organization by enhancing the current practices and by leading the development projects.
  • You will also be involved with the coordination of sales activities, granting support to the front-end team. You will actively work to identify customer needs and meet or exceed those expectations.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Professionally and effectively communicate with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Review sales orders for accuracy.
  • Work with procurement and contract manufacturers to ensure customer orders are entered accurately and timely.
  • (Co)develop and implement the plan, policies and objectives for the assigned unit and/or contribute to the development of strategy on a level higher.
  • Ensure the formulation of sales and operations planning for the assigned part of the supply chain, balancing inventory, and production capacity.
  • Ensure the development and management of inventory, production and material plans (supply plans), covering all activities of both internal and external parties and from short terms scheduling to long term planning within the supply chain.
  • (Co)develop and implement planning work processes, procedures, techniques and/or systems, evaluate bottlenecks and suggest and implement potential improvement
  • Provide insights regarding quantitative and qualitative developments by means of periodical and ad hoc reports and/or analyses.
  • Build and maintain a network of internal and external stakeholders/partners and supply chain service providers and represent the organization.
  • Define, plan, manage and coordinate assigned (portfolio of) projects and ensure execution and delivery.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

  • Operations Management diploma, or experience in a technical field along with at least over 3 years of experience in planning/scheduling/order handling.
  • Minimum of 3 years of leadership experience.
  • Minimum of 3 years of project related experience.
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, production planning, commercial and financial principles.
  • Highly developed analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to change direction and handle multiple responsibilities and tasks on a regular basis.
  • Experience using SAP or other MRP/ERP systems.
  • Strong planning, organizational skills, and attention to detail are required.
  • Team attitude; eager to cooperate with others, has exceptional interpersonal communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working within an ISO quality plan is an asset.
  • Team attitude; eager to cooperate with others, has exceptional interpersonal communication skills.
  • Understanding of/and experience with Lean manufacturing principles is preferred.
  • Extensive knowledge and expert level user of Microsoft Office tools e.g. Excel, PowerPoint, Word, etc.
  • Ability to positively motivate individuals and teams to meet or exceed expectations.
  • Knowledge of configuration control.

TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS

  • Candidate must be able to fly and visit suppliers in America, Europe and Asia.
