- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 8 years of experience in product management or related technical role.
- 3 years of experience developing or launching products or technologies within one or more of the following: Cloud, SaaS, enterprise, internal tools, or supply chain networks.
Preferred qualifications:
- Experience laying out roadmaps for a team resulting in developing and launching successful products.
- Experience diving deep into data analysis and metrics and building on past insights to form cohesive takeaways.
- Experience distilling complexity into simple narratives, including executive presentations.
- Experience working cross-functionally (e.g., Engineering, Product, Analytics/Data Science, Policy, Legal, Operations, etc.).

The Geo team is focused on building the most accurate, comprehensive, and useful maps for our users, through products like Maps, Earth, Street View, Google Maps Platform, and more. Every month, more than a billion people rely on Maps services to explore the world and navigate their daily lives.
The Geo team also enables developers to use the power of Google Maps platforms to enhance their apps and websites. As they plot a course for the future of mapping, they are solving complex computer science problems, designing beautiful and intuitive product experiences, and improving our understanding of the real world.
- Develop an outlook and strategy for the new team working with key stakeholders in Map the World and Geo Operations.
- Lead the development of key AI and ML solutions and capabilities to deliver on the defined goals.
- Mentor and develop team members, providing guidance and opportunities for growth.
- Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous learning within the team.
- Collaborate with cross-functional partner teams to define the goals and roadmap that the team will own and deliver on to further Geo’s business goals.
