The YouTube Over the Top Engineering team is responsible for several major premium sports and TV products on YouTube, including YouTube TV, Primetime Channels, Movies & Shows, and Live Sports.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $189,000-$284,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. • Own and drive projects that deliver the highest quality TV services to power YouTube TV, Primetime Channels, and other products.
• Coach and mentor team members, providing guidance and support in their technical work, establishing the engineering excellence standards, defining the team technology roadmap, and driving the execution of the team's OKRs.
  
• Design and implement solutions for the team to address increasingly complex requirements and scale, providing support and infrastructure to multiple premium products in the space, with focus on quality, reliability, and efficiency.
  
• Improve service reliability and robustness through tooling and automation which directly impacts the quality of the user experience of our products.
  
• Help evolve the YouTube data models to support the complexities of TV metadata.
